TEACH ENGLISH TO BRAZILIAN YOUTH IN A TRADITIONAL SUMMER CAMP SETTING

Our English Camp is an English language immersion camp established in Brazil with the purpose to motivate kids and teens between 5 to 17 years old to speak, practice and learn English.  The English Camp is located in the beautiful countryside of Sao Paulo, in the southeast of Brazil, approximately 2 hours outside of the city.

Young Brazilians from 5 to 17 years old attend this camp for fun and to learn English.  GeoVisions places volunteer camp counselors here to help contribute to the campers' better use of the English language.  Through projects, sports, and group activities, the campers are exposed to the practice of English and lots of fun!

Volunteer Activities May Include:

  • Organize educational projects and games to involve and expose the children to English
  • Help organize and participate in recreational activities
  • Be a mentor and role model for the children
  • Help monitor and watch over the children
  • Help teach simple conversational English

All GeoVisions programs include accommodation and meals, airport pick-up, project training, in country support, medical insurance, extensive pre-departure information and project orientation. 

What is required
If you want to come to the English Camp as a camp counselor, here are the basic requirements:

  • Age requirement is 18 - 28 
  • Have some camp experience as a camper or camp counselor
  • Speak English fluently
  • Be available for at least 15 days of camp
  • Fill out all the GeoVisions' applications and necessary camp forms
  • One written recommendation

Additional Fee Information Camp runs in 5 day sessions. You may volunteer for 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 sessions. The cost is $760 for 1 or 2 sessions and $860 for 3 or 4 sessions and $910 for five sessions. 
Language Training None formally. You will pick up Portugese at the camp.  Airport Transfers INCLUDED

Local Transportation None needed since you will be at the camp the entire time.  Other This is a camp counselor experience, so there are no weekend excursions.

Additional Information It is necessary to complete a separate camp application for this program, which needs to be approved.The price is the same for any of the dates or combined dates below.
