THE VISA
Students come on a J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa. The purpose of the visa is to give students the opportunity to learn about America while they work in seasonal jobs. They then take those impressions back to their home countries.
J-1 students can work second jobs if they want to earn more, or get more hours than you can give them. This is unlike the H-2B visa, on which visa holders can work only for you.
GeoVisions is designated by the US Department of State to issue the Form DS-2019 to qualified students. This allows them to apply for the J-1 Visa at a US Embassy. Students from most of our countries have had good success in applying for visas.
