HISTORY

GeoVisions was founded in 2001, and our offices were established in the small town of Chesterfield, New Hampshire, just a few miles from the communities of Brattleboro and Putney, Vermont. This area has educational institutions and community organizations that have trained and supported international managers, language teachers, and aid workers since the mid 1950’s. The first training programs for the US Peace Corps were developed in this area. Our location, just two hours from Boston, three and a half hours from New York, and four hours from Montreal, allows us to draw on resources we need from these internationally minded metropolitan centers.

Our CEO, COO and Executive Director have collectively spent over ninety years in International Education and Exchange.

Kevin Morgan has created, marketed and managed education and exchange programs since 1974. He has experience in study abroad for US university students, high school educational travel, continuing education, homestay programs in the US, high school exchange worldwide, work and training programs in over fifteen countries, and volunteer activities around the globe. He has lived in the United States, Hong Kong and Sydney.  Kevin is our CEO and lives and works in our office in Bangkok, Thailand.

The experience James Miller brings to international education dates back to study abroad in Japan as a University student and two years teaching in Japan on a Fulbright program in the late 1970’s. Since then he has managed and promoted programs throughout Asia, and in the 1990’s, was the Director of the CIEE office in Japan. In that capacity, he supervised TOEFL testing for over 300,000 students a year, and managed work, training and volunteer programs worldwide.  James is our COO and lives and works in our office in Chesterfield, New Hampshire.

Randy LeGrant brings his thirty-years of experience in international education and study abroad to GeoVisions as our first Executive Director.  Randy's experience began in 1976 as a high school teacher accompanying high school students and adults abroad...something he did for four years.  From 1979 to 1989 he marketed and managed  high school and college study abroad programs in 12 countries.  Since then, Randy has managed and provided programming for educational homestays and travel programs in twenty-five different countries.  He has lived in the U.S. and the UK.  Randy lives and works in our office in Guilford, Connecticut.

In addition to the three offices above, GeoVisions also has offices in Boston, Massachusetts; Portland, Oregon and Paris, France.
