Globalization creates an imperative for colleges and universities to prepare students to be citizens of the world. Through our formal partnership with Northeastern University in Boston, Northeastern students can pursue three to six-month international experiential learning opportunities in over a dozen countries.

The mission of Volunteers for Prosperity is to promote the energy and idealism of the United States through support of international voluntary service by highly skilled American professionals that meets the global health and prosperity goals of the U.S. Government.

ACIS Service Learning Programs, in partnership with Geovisions provide participants the opportunity to actively and positively contribute to the community. The tours and tour extensions include service projects that are safe, culturally interesting and genuinely beneficial to a local community.
The goal of each project is to educate and engage participants while at the same time help a community that needs it.
Depending on their specific requirements, students may use their ACIS service work to satisfy community service requirements at school. All participants receive a certificate of completion for participating in an ACIS Service Learning project.

As AIFS College Study Abroad's exclusive partner for alternative international programs, AIFS students can choose GeoVisons volunteer and teach abroad programs before, during or after their AIFS College Study Abroad experience.
