EMPLOYERS REQUEST STUDENT WORKERS - Click Here
Our students come from about twenty selected countries. We have strong partners in each country that help us screen students. Students must be at least eighteen years old, and must be full-time students in universities or colleges. Only about ten percent of our students have ever been to the US before, so they are very excited about this experience.
Employers find the students to be hard workers. They are reliable, show up on time, and will usually stay longer at work if you need them to complete tasks. They offer to work overtime. They are friendly and generally good with customers. It is important to remember that students pay to come on this program. They pay us a fee to process their visas and provide support and insurance. They pay our overseas partners a fee for their in-country services. They pay an ordinarily expensive airfare to come to America. And they are instructed to bring at least $500 in spending money to cover expenses in their first few weeks. It is not unusual for all of these expenses to total nearly $2,000.
How many of your current workers would pay … and pay this much … to come to work for you?
Most students need to borrow money from relatives and friends to afford the program. Their first goal is to earn enough money to pay back their loans. Secondly, they want to earn enough money to do some traveling. Third, they want to bring money home. Students are not just looking for a job...they are looking for an experience in which they can learn about our country. They are hoping that you will help them learn.
Our most successful students? They work at employers who care about them, and understand that their needs are a little different than other workers.
