Teaching Abroad in Thailand for Teens

Calling all high schoolers! Are you looking for an amazing opportunity this summer? Something different than that part time summer job?

Consider making a lasting impact by volunteering your time and English skills by teaching abroad in Thailand with GeoVisions!

Our adult group leader, Jessica Pignataro, will meet you in New York City, and travel with you to Hau Hin. It’s Thailand’s original royal beach resort, with miles and miles of sapphire blue water and soft, warm sand. And can you call it home for 24 days this summer!

When you’re not soaking up the rays, you will keep busy with sustainable community projects, volunteering with rescue dogs, teaching English to Thai children of all ages and much, much more.

And don’t worry -- we’re not looking for boring grammar lesson plans. Instead, you’ll sing, dance and laugh with your students, all while teaching them English.

There’s also ample time while teaching abroad in Thailand for several cultural field trips, such as Thai market shopping, visiting Thai temples for blessings by a Monk, and a trip to the popular elephant sanctuary- where you can get an up-close selfie with an elephant! Other than the experience of a lifetime and meeting lifelong friends from around the world, what else is included? The program fee of $4,949 includes:

• Round trip airfare from New York City to Bangkok, and transportation to Hau Hin
• Adult group leader for the entire program
• Medical and accidental insurance
• All accommodations
• Three meals a day
• Local transportation and activities
