Teach English Abroad ~ Get Paid

Anyone. Teaching. English.

It's Like A Gap Program For Grownups And Grads.

Yes! You can do this.

We know because we've done it. Taking a month to a year to reward yourself with a working vacation takes money, time, planning, and supportive friends and family. (And someone to take your cat.)

We all start with good intentions to go abroad and change lives. However, along the way, we can get distracted or discouraged.

If you're serious about making a difference, GeoVisions is here to help you stay focused and make your travel dreams come true. We'll talk to you, introduce you to people who have been there and done that. We'll send you Blog posts and videos.

Since 2001 we have helped thousands of travelers, just like you, with the same goal of traveling and changing lives. Our Key Management has a combined 121 years of service doing precisely this. We will keep you motivated and help you squash those doubt bugs.

Look over the programs below and click on the button for the adventure that moves you the most. We'll take it from there.

Teach for an academic semester or an academic year.

Current certified classroom teachers or recent grads in Education or English can teach in Thailand and get paid during four-weeks in the summer.

Enjoy three days of orientation before you begin. There are good salaries and benefits. TEFL/TESOL suggested, but not required.

The contract will state that you need to be at the school from 7 am until 4 pm or 8 am to 5 pm. Teaching hours will be between 18-24 per week. Many schools might let you leave a reasonable amount of time after your last class (2:30/3:30 pm) but that is dependent on the school.

Earn a monthly salary between $900 and $1200 (dependent on location, teaching experience, etc.). That’s twice what a local Thai teacher earns each month.  But with rent around $250 a month and food much less, you can live a nice life as a teacher in Thailand.

Our placements range from Kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school.

It is virtually impossible to get a paying job in the EU if you're not from there. This is a rare opportunity to live in Italy like a local and get paid to teach English.

The beginning of living like a local in Italy starts with your first month in Florence, Italy, the birthplace of the Renaissance. Take the required 130-hour TEFL course and learn how to teach English. Learn how to write up lesson plans and do your practice teaching to hone your skills. While you're taking your TEFL course, our placement advisors are helping you apply for teaching jobs all over Italy, where you will be able to remain legally and work for a period of up to 11 additional months.

Even if you already have a TEFL or TESOL, the only way to teach legally in Italy if you're not from the EU is on a student visa. By taking the TEFL course you can qualify for the visa.

Earn around $1,050 US per month for 20 hours a week of teaching. Pick up some outside tutoring and the salary can go up. That means your out of pocket expenses to get to Italy, the GeoVisions fee and your living expenses during your TEFL course are paid for soon. At the very least, at the end of your time in Italy, you will have traveled there and back again and lived the entire time for free.  It’s possible to come home with money, based on your lifestyle.
